(GREENVILLE, S.C.) - The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings and AHL’s Ontario Reign, extend a warm welcome to Publix Super Markets, a new corporate partner of the organization.
Through this multi-year partnership, Publix, the “Official Grocer of the Swamp Rabbits”, is the proud sponsor of our “Peanuts Thanksgiving” game on Sunday, November 22nd, featuring a 3:05pm puck drop, a special Publix-themed giveaway, and a postgame screening of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on the video board. Additionally, the southeast regional grocer will be the presenting partner of pregame puck deliveries, birthdays, and Sunday home game “Family Fun Days”.
“At Publix, being a good neighbor means supporting the organizations and traditions that bring people together,” said Jared Glover, Publix Media Relations Manager. “We’re proud to support the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and look forward to cheering alongside fans while investing in the community we call home.”
“We are proud to welcome Publix as the Official Grocer Partner of the Greenville Swamp Rabbits,” said Tim Vieira, President of the Swamp Rabbits. “Our mutual commitment to our community is made stronger though this partnership, which allows us the unique opportunity to bring fans our new ‘Family Fun Days’ for Sunday home games and special activations for our second Peanuts-themed game, this time surrounding ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ in November. I look forward to our future as a partner alongside Publix.”
The Swamp Rabbits officially begin the 25th season of professional hockey in the Upstate on “Opening Night”, presented by Bon Secours St. Francis Health System on Friday, October 16th.
